Description

Bartender is a droplight designed for the bar in the bar by using parametric design. It is inspired by the delicate mixology techniques from the bartender in the bar. Extracting the shaky path of the shaker into a spiral curve – as the main modeling language. It also contains the shaking rhythm of three-stage hard shake (a mixology techniques). As you can see three spirals from the outline of this light, which follows the shaking rhythm – slow, fast and moderate, showing a sense of tension and intensity when shaking. What’s more, the lower and inside part of the lamp also has hidden design – the inner edge of the lamp also contains a spiral. The combination between inside and outside highlights the core design language of this lamp – simple, elegant and beautiful.

The parametric design of this lamp is mainly reflected in the outer edge of each lampshade, trying to show the sense of strength and rhythm of mixology. I use several functions to control the distance between cylindrical and spiral, so the overall shape can be modified by parameters.
